| Rankin Wilbourne, Pastor
Rankin grew up near New Orleans. He worked in corporate banking for five years before deciding to become a pastor. After his training at Princeton Theological Seminary, Rankin was Minister of Teaching and Missions at First Presbyterian Church of Chattanooga.
He likes the fact that Los Angeles is a town that turns around the idea
of story and the need for a redemptive ending.
Rankin enjoys most any
sport, poetry (especially Robert Frost), and
music (especially Bruce Springsteen).
Rankin was married to Morgen Kleinknecht on February 23, 2008. Their son, Jack, was born on November 9, 2009. |
| Marshall Brown, Assistant Pastor
Marshall was raised in Dallas, Texas. He graduated from Vanderbilt University with a B.A. in history and a minor in business administration. Sensing that the Lord was calling him to ministry, Marshall studied at Reformed Theological Seminary and graduated with a Master of Divinity degree. He has served as a campus minister with Reformed University Fellowship for the past six years. |
| Scott Cougill, Executive Pastor
Scott and his family (wife, Cathren, and four teenage children) moved to Los Angeles from Chiang Mai, Thailand to join our PCC family. Scott served
as the Asia Pacific Area Director for YFC International before stepping down to allow someone else to lead. Scott was raised in Indianapolis, Indiana
and earned his BA in Psychology from Wabash College and his MBA from Indiana University. Before joining YFC in 2002, Scott had 15 years of business
leadership experience in both large and small firms.

| Dave Masoner, Assistant Pastor
After a career in higher education as a professor and administrator, Dave, along with his artistic wife Barbara, was called to PCC to "come and love the people." And that's what they did and continue to do. With maturity and tenderness, Dave has overseen the leadership essential in a mission church without a permanent building. Born in Pittsburgh, married and believers for nearly forty years, Dave and Barbara have five children and four grandchildren living from coast to coast. |
| Albert Shim, Pastoral Staff
Albert was raised in Southern California and earned his BA in English from Berkeley and his MD from USC. He continues to work part-time as a physician in Pediatrics and Internal Medicine and joined the church staff in March 2010 to focus on Adult Education and Discipleship. He and his wife Tina have two daughters, Allison and Natalie. He is a long-suffering San Diego sports fanatic who also enjoys Top Chef, Hillsong United, and a good book. |
| Chris Weldon, Director of Worship
Chris and his wife Rebekah moved to Los Angeles in 2002 from San Francisco. They've since happily added their daughters Savannah and Lelah to the mix. Chris has been a pianist since his elementary school days in Minnesota, eventually moving to Manhattan where he earned a doctorate degree from the Juilliard School. When he isn't playing piano or directing worship, Chris enjoys being with his family and reading an occasional book. |
| Mark Jean, Assistant Director of Worship
Mark, originally from Houston, has been a musician as long as he can remember. After graduating with a degree in music from Belmont University in Nashville, Mark toured as a guitarist with various Christian bands, eventually moving to Los Angeles to pursue a career in music production and songwriting. In 1998 Mark met Paula. They married 2 years later. They now have 2 sons, Marcus and Max. |
| Jisun Conn, Director of Children's Ministry
Jisun is a native of southern California
and has lived abroad in Shanghai, where she met her husband Richard in
2003. Since 2005, she has been a part of the the Children's Ministry,
first as a volunteer teacher and then a volunteer coordinator, and
feels so blessed by the sweet hearts and bright minds of the children
of PCC. She and Richard were married in 2007 and welcomed their
daughter Charlotte in August 2009. |
| Dave Kleinknecht, Director of Hope for Los Angeles
Dave grew up in New York City and moved to Los Angeles to attend the University of Southern California. After graduating, he spent four years with Campus Crusade, first at USC and then with Here's Life Inner City. While working on a national project for Here's Life, he coordinated events to connect corporate resources to urban pastors and community leaders who have committed to caring for the poor. Dave loves visiting new places, enjoys the relative purity of college sports, and spends most Tuesday nights at Rocco's Pizza on Wilshire. |
| Hannah Franklin, Administrator
Hannah was born and raised in Chattanooga. She was working as a CPA
there, but when a job opened up in Los Angeles, she was excited about a
new adventure at PCC. (So far, she says, it's lived up to her
expectations.) Hannah's family is large and close-knit, including 3
siblings, 12 nieces and nephews, and even children of nieces and
nephews. She loves outdoor activities, including walking on the beach,
hiking in the hills, and hang gliding. |
| Laura Love, Volunteer/Visitor Coordinator
Laura Love grew up in an Air Force family and has lived all over the
United States, including overseas tours in England, Hawaii, and Korea.
She graduated from Vanderbilt University, with a double major in
Theatre and Communications. A thespian at heart, Laura can be found
singing show tunes, along with praise songs, and rehearsing monologues,
while printing Sunday bulletins. She also enjoys running, reading, and
Bay Cities Deli sandwiches at the beach. |
| Allen Wolf, Membership/Visitor Coordinator
Allen grew up in Dayton, Ohio and studied film at New York University. While living in New York, he was actively involved with Redeemer Church, where he served as a deacon. After moving to Los Angeles, he helped start Pacific Crossroads Church and is continually amazed at all God has accomplished through the growth of the church. He's also a fan of chocolate. |
| Jeff Raycher, Pastoral Intern
Jeff is originally from Memphis and has lived in Los Angeles for the past ten years. Jeff is currently studying theology at Reformed Theological Seminary. He heads up several volunteer ministries and preaches from time to time at PCC. Jeff and his new bride, Jenni, have recently moved to downtown Los Angeles and look forward to serving that community. |

Tina Shim, Assistant Administrator
Tina grew up in Northern California and earned her BA from Berkeley and MBA from USC. She moved to Los Angeles after experiencing her "When Harry met Sally" moment with her college friend Albert. They married in 2002 and have happily added daughters Allison and Natalie to the family. After 10 years in business, she now enjoys applying her skills to the administration of PCC while spending more time with her kids. |
| Janet Yang, HFLA Assistant, Office Assistant
Janet was born and raised in Detroit, Michigan. After attending the University of Michigan (go blue!), she decided to see what the rest of the US was like and moved to New York City, followed by a move to Los Angeles in 2008. Janet loves everything a big city has to offer – interesting people and experiences, diverse types of food, arts and entertainment – and she likes that in LA you can also add hiking and visiting the beach to that mix. |
| Ellen Godfrey, Administrative Assistant
Ellen was born and raised in Birmingham , Alabama . She and her husband Matt were married June 6, 2008. After attending both Samford University and University of Alabama at Birmingham , Ellen and Matt packed up their things and moved to LA so Matt could pursue his career as an actor. Having worked at a church before, Ellen is excited to come on board with Pacific Crossroads Church to support the ministry and be witness to all the wonderful things God is doing for and with this church body. She is always up for a good book, a good movie, and some good food. |
| Allison Bowers, Sunday Operations Director
Allison is a native Californian. She attended Palos Verdes High School and the University of Southern California, earning a bachelor's degree in Communications. Allison began her professional career in advertising sales at MTV. From there she moved to CBS, Cartoon Network, and most recently to the A&E Television Networks. In 2008, Allison decided to take an indefinite leave from the corporate world in order to pursue paths closer to her heart. As a result, she was able volunteer for PCC as the leader of the Fellowship Team. When the Sunday Operations Director position became available, Allison was able to officially join the PCC team. She takes great pleasure in having a job about which she is passionate. In her spare time, Allison enjoys entertaining, family and friends, interior design and, of course, her PCC family. |
| Lisa Carrick, Director of Global Missions
Lisa grew up near Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Being a dual citizen of Canada and the US, she's lived all over in both countries. She recently moved to
Los Angeles from Vancouver, BC, Canada. Lisa graduated from Trinity Western University with a Bachelor of Arts in Intercultural Religious Studies
and a minor in Missions. She is currently pursuing a Master's Degree in Global Leadership at Fuller Theological Seminary. She enjoys outdoor
activities (running, hiking, snowboarding), reading, and spending time with friends and family. |
| Jeff Still, Pastoral Intern
Jeff grew up on a ranch in Western Colorado and
attended college at the University
of Denver where he
studied theater and digital media. After school
he moved to Los Angeles
to work in media arts but later decided to take things in a new direction and
began studying at Fuller Theological Seminary. Jeff loves writing, martial arts, poetry, playing harmonica, studying theology and time with friends. |
| Daniel Keck, Site Manager
A native of Los Angeles, Daniel grew up just a few miles from where PCC meets on Sunday. He started working for PCC in 2002 while he was still a student at University High School. Since then, his role at PCC has grown. He now manages a team of volunteers who prepare the University High School location every Sunday for the PCC worship service. In his free time, Daniel enjoys being with family and friends. He also enjoys movies, music, theater, and outdoor activities. |
